Moto Guzzi Stelvio NTX ABS.

This is a superb motorbike. much more enjoyable than a GS and far more individual. I wanted one the moment they were announced. I took a demonstrator out on the same day that I had a GS demonstrator so that I could try them “back to back” and I can tell you that although the GS is very competent. it just doesn't give you the pleasure or grin factor that the Stelvio delivers. The handling is superb. very confidence inspiring. the seat is comfy and everything falls to hand easily. This is a very easy bike to ride and is ready to take you to the south of France or Spain etc.

This 2010 Moto Guzzi Stelvio NTX is the ABS Model which came fully equipped with TRAX panniers. engine bars. fog lamps. hand guards and alloy sump guard.

I have added a set of aftermarket 5 stage heated grips which are a boon on cold days. a hugger. a fender extender and mud flap to keep all the muck off.

The bike has done a total of 17.500 ish miles. the bike is in use so the mileage will go up.

It is finished in Silver. the best colour available at the time.

All updates to the software in the computer have been done. All the factory recalls have been done and the service book will support that this is a well cared for machine.

I have enjoyed this bike enormously. the power delivery is quite awesome. you can cruise all day at 75 to 80 and still get 50 mpg although with luggage and a passenger this does drop a bit. I went off to France on it two up with both boxes and a top box full of kit and we still got over 43 to the gallon.

It has had regular oil and filter changes and has always been run on Silkolene Pro4 oil and does not leak or use any between services. The gearbox and final drive also have Silkolene oils in them.

I fitted new tyres 2.000 approx. miles ago and they have plenty of life in them. I fitted Bridgestone. they give good grip in all conditions and offer a good service life.

I am the second owner of the bike but for reasons (people messing about) that will be supported by documentation the V5 shows me to be the 4th owner.

I have the V5 in my name. owners handbook. service manual. tool kit and a CD rom workshop manual.

This is an excellent bike with a full service history. It starts on the button and is a joy to ride. The Mot runs out in July but it will sail straight through its next one.

Cosmetically. the bike is a very clean example. I have never dropped it and the first owner told me that he had not done so either. However. it does have a small mark on both the RH pannier and the RH handguard. I think that these were done on a cross channel ferry. I certainly didn't cause them and I only noticed them when I got to Brugge. They don't affect the bike in any practical way though.
