Description
You're looking at my 1959 BSA A7 Star Twin.
I bought the bike about 5 years ago with a view to restoring it but I just haven't had time and with lots of other projects on the go it doesn't look like it's going to be happening any time soon. I need to clear a bit of space so have decided to sell it. The bike has been dry stored since 1972. It's completely original. I've never tried to start it because I don't have the key but the engine kicks over easily and feels and sounds very nice as it does so. It goes through all the gears nicely. the brakes aren't seized and it pushes easily. It's got 28000 miles on it which I'm sure is genuine. It's a matching numbers bike. The registration number 977 CDH is the original number and I have the original buff log book and a couple of old MOT's. I bet if you got a key or bypassed the ignition switch and did a bit of fiddling it would start right up.
The tank and side panels are straight and don't even have any dents. There is surface rust as you can see in the pictures but there is no rot anywhere. It's got a lovely look and feel to it and would be an easy restoration.
Any questions please email or phone. sorry no texts will be answered.
Thanks for looking.
