Classic Kawasaki Z1R in fantastic condition

The Kawasaki Z1R. The first Cafe Racer some say! Much like the Katana. ahead of it's time and didn't sell that great. but now they're rare because of it. This is from one of our customers who's also a collector. who's downsizing his collection of Classic bikes.
Last owner had it for 14 years and had stored it for a number of these years.
The gentleman who owned it before him owned it twice. and it was this particular person who had some work carried out to the engine which makes it such a sweet runner. Very quiet. no smoke and sounds gorgeous. just as a good engine should.
Work carried out in 98/99. Cylinder head and block removed. bores honed with new piston rings fitted. New valves/stems replaced. new head gasket and tensioners. This was all carried out approx. 5000 miles ago. Total mileage since new is in the region of 33000. The speedo is showing just over 5000 miles as this when all the work had been carried out.
The latest owner has had the brakes refurbed. calipers powder coated. new pads but original brake hoses still fitted for originality. The master cylinder has been fitted with a new repair kit and New tyres fitted.
Carbs stripped and cleaned ultra sonically. then set up and calibrated. New Inlet rubbers fitted as the old ones were showing signs of cracking.
A new exact Replica of the original silencer has been fitted. especially shipped in from the USA. This company also makes exact replica silencers/end cans/exhausts for many Classic Japanese motorcycles from the 70's and 80's.
New Stainless steel downpipes and collector box fitted to replicate the originals with NOS colletts also fitted.
Swing arm has been powder coated with new needle roller bearings fitted.
Original paint. original seat and base.
New fuel tap. new air filter. oil and oil filter fitted. New spark plugs and caps. new seat lock cover. new rear indicators as the originals were weathered. Center stand powder coated.
This bike has had a lot of money spent on it to make it run well. go and stop well and to make it look Great.
These are now very much appreciating Classics and this will undoubtedly rise in value further.
You will not have to do anything with this bike apart from Insure and tax it. then ride it. or. just admire it and store it.
New pictures relating to the front wheel and the chrome brackets that have just been fitted. These hold the brake lines and speedo cable.
