BSA Mark II Rocket 3 1971

This R3 I built up myself about 10 years ago and used it now and than (with much fun). It has no matching numbers. The engine was bought about 25 years ago and was one of the spare engines of a racer. Due to this the gearbox was altered to take a Triumph 5speed gearbox. At present it has the genuine 4speed. but indeed a 5speed can be fitted without any problems (I have tried out). All parts are standard and when needed bought from Triple Cycles or Norman Hyde. It has the Lucas Rita electronic ignition and the stronger 180W alternator. As being a Rocket3 rider for almost 40 years. be assured that it really is a great runner. I am selling as I am completing another R3 (as a caferacer) from all the bits I still have. Though. make me a good offer above the price mentioned and it is yours. As you can see from the last picture. earlier this year my R3's were in an article in a Dutch magazine. In case. I willing to take it halfway to deliver. which means 200miles from my place like Dover or Frankfurt for example.
