Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V 2010, 6200 miles, excellent condition

This is my Griso. I have owned it since 3rd April 2014. It is in excellent condition as per photos.

It has had 2x previous owners. when I bought it the mileage was approximately 2450. If you know Guzzis then you'll know all about the character of these bikes. This model pulls like a train.

All original parts are included in the sale. the shorter bars are more comfortable. but easily changed with back. there is also a Moto Guzzi recommended Termignoni exhaust included in sale.

The bike was serviced by Moto Strada at 793 miles 16/04/112011. Jim Allan m/cs of Bathgate Scotland at 2341 miles 23/06/12. no recorded history till 28/05/14 at 3559 miles. then 21/06/2015 at 5607 miles. The last 2 services were performed by myself. I printed off & followed the schedule. I also balanced the throttle bodies in august 2014 using the Guzzi diag computer programme. After the balancing was carried out the fuel consumption increased by approx. 15%. so it obviously had not been previously done. When I first got the bike I stripped & greased the head bearings. and tail linkages as they are noted as being something commonly missed in production. they were all ok. The reason for no service in 2013 was extremely low mileage. i.e. it was hardly used & kept in a dry garage. I also keep it in a dry garage. All oils used during my servicing have been the correct grades. I also checked the valves at the last service no adjustment required.

I have also fitted a fenda extenda on the front. a hugger at the rear. I also made & fitted a splash protector for the front of the sump to protect the front & underside from road splash off the front wheel. there is not one available on the market. The splash guard is not very noticeable unless you point it out.

I get around 45 to 50 mpg. this can be increased very slightly. or decreased a lot depending on your riding style. The tyres are Metzeler Z8s they are both have about 60% tread left. so are good for a few thousand miles (depending on riding style).

I bought this bike on wow factor. I love its looks & style. Its one of those bikes people ask you about. Its actually a really good bike. Handles well with loads of grunt. The previous owner described it as a sports tractor! I kind of agree ish!

The Mileage is actually 6050 as in photo. but I've added a bit on in case its sunny & I get a chance to use it.

I don't want to sell outside of UK. so please don't enquire about overseas sales. I do not want Paypal as I would end up paying approx. 4% in fees. Cash is king. then a cleared cheque. I'm not a trader so do not have credit card facilities.

V5 in my name at my address. all books. 2x keys + MOT cert & receipts to prove servicing. My insurance does not cover test rides. I'll happily take you as pillion. or let you ride it if you give me asking price in cash to hold.

I have advertised at £4999. This is a very competitive price when you consider the value of the extras. don't take my word look it up. I do not think I will be lowering the price without removing the extras & selling separately. which I would prefer not to do as they are the right items for this bike. Any questions just email me.
