KAWASAKI ER6 SUPERTWIN RACE/TRACK BIKE

Complete front end from a 2010 model ZX10 with K-Tech fork internals resprung to suit. including calipers with genuine Kawasaki disc pads. genuine Kawasaki 310mm discs. braided brake lines and modified yolks. It also has high quality billet handlebars. Ohlins steering damper. complete rear end from a 2012 ZX6R (including linkages. rear wheel. disc and caliper) using a Maxton GP12 Rear Shock Absorber. removable rear sub frame. Bonimichi footrest plates and levers. Full set of sprockets (12 rear and 3 front). Set of spare wheels with nearly new wets. Bespoke twin stainless exhaust system (massive mid range power boost). Koso clocks including shift light and brand new big radiator. All the wheels have captive spacers for easy changes. Both the chassis number and original chassis plate are present and have not been tampered with in any way.

Go Faster Bits

Engine: Comes with ported cylinder head. racing camshafts. JE forged pistons. Carillo connecting rods. Balanced and cryogenically treated crankshaft and a light weight generator (even charges on tickover unlike most). It has just been refreshed with new big end and main bearing shells and new valves.

Electronics: It comes with an Ignitech fully programmable ignition with 2 injectors per cylinder married to large tapered throttle bodies that are 43mm at the engine side and a high volume air box with integrated air scoop. The power output is 89 bhp on a dynapro dyno which only reads 93% of the figure a dynojet dyno would give meaning the equivalent of around 95 bhp. It does go well and I've never been overtaken in a straight line by another twin regardless of who has been sat on it.

General: Comes with Harris stainless steel stands. fully ACU compliant bodywork with integrated rear rain light operated from handlebar switch. There are also a number of spares included such as: handlebar tubes. footrest plates. levers. side cover gaskets. rear wheel hub and cush drive rubbers etc. The V5 registration document is also present.

This was built as a no expense spared race bike in 2012 from a road bike with only 150 miles on it. It has covered less than 500 miles since and only around 50 miles since the extensive rebuild.
