Buell X1 Lightning 2002

For sale is my Buell X1 Lightning. This is a very clean. low mileage example which has seen only just over 8000 dry road miles. It has recently had a new battery & has a good set of tyres fitted. The only none standard modifications are. a Forcewinder filter & intake manifold. complemented with carbon fibre infill panels under the tank cover. I have also changed the original orange plastic panels for a set of limited edition "Red Stripe Racing " ones that came from another bike. these do have a few very minor blemishes but in my opinion look much better than the original orange ones. which I still have & that set is blemishless. If you want the orange ones they are available at an additional cost of £300 the set but it will be your responsibility to swap them as I don't have the time or inclination. It also has uprated fork & rear suspension springs by Hyper pro. Exhaust is Vance & Hines & sounds terrific. ( Like God clearing his throat !) The frame & wheels are finished in "Nuclear Blue" All in all this is the best X1 you will come across. it is in excellant mechanical & cosmetic condition. largely unadulterated. apart from the few tastefull mods listed above & will appreciate seeing as they have now ceased production altogether. Viewing recommended. first to see it will buy it.
