2001 Harley-Davidson 1450 Road King FLHRC in red

2001 Harley-Davidson Road King 1450 carburetted 'Big Twin'. in lovely condition with spoked wheels and only 4 previous owners.

Lots of chrome. with fork lowers. engine cases. gearbox cover etc. all gleaming. Additional extras of chrome wind deflectors that fit on the fork legs (not currently fitted) and a chrome 'add-on' under the triple trees (fitted). Heel gear shifter currently removed and chrome cover fitted in its place. but shifter will come with the bike.

Beach bars with mini-indicators under and hidden wiring within currently fitted. though standard bars also provided to revert if you wish. along with the additional light bar. Comes with chrome rack fitted where passenger seat would normally sit. but seat. sissy bar and associated larger chrome rack also provided.

Fibreglass panniers. with chrome catches in pretty good condition. though the inner faces are slightly cracked around the mounting points - nothing to worry about. as they are supported at the bottom and the cracks show absolutely no sign of spreading.

Currently 'Stage One' with air filter allied with Screaming Eagle silencers. Also have set of fishtails if that is your thing. which I will include if the bike reaches full price.

Very recent (1500 miles) Avon Cobra tyres fitted front and rear. with minimal wear. Otherwise bike is in remarkable condition with minimal signs of corrosion (rear wheel rim has the odd blemish) and no significant paint flaws (I am renowned for being pretty fussy).

Slight chrome lifting on primary cover (shown in pic 6) and but sealed with lacquer. Much smaller single patches on top of each chrome rocker cover. similarly sealed to prevent them getting worse - you have to really look hard to spot these.

Self-serviced with all Harley fluids just over 1500 miles ago - no oil added or needed since and it still remains clear and clean. No nasty rattles or untoward noises; it's a lovely bike.

Reason for sale - fancy a V-Rod. especially an early one. However try me with another bike if you have one to part ex.
