For sale is my 1993 Ducati 888 SP5
She is a genuine SP5. Number 64 of 500
She was first imported and registered in this country in 1997. i have been the only owner since then. registered on 01 / 09 / 1997. i brought her on 09 / 09 / 1997 i still have the purchase receipt
A total strip and rebuild some 11yrs & 4. 66 Miles ago at the cost of 5k
Parts replaced and reconditioned:
Ohlins Forks off an SP2. reconditioned - gold nitrated - anodised & polished by Harris Performance
Ohlins Rear shock serviced by JHP
New Marchesini 5 spoke F&R wheels with new Brembo fully floating discs & wheel bearings
New Disc pads
New Chain & Sprockets
Silmoto full race exhaust system
Harris Performance Quick release clip on's
New Carbon. Front mudguard - Rear hugger - Clutch cover - Engine sprocket cover
All nuts and bolts changed to stainless & anodised
Previous to this i had the heads tuned by JHP. flowed - ported - big corse valve's
The engine was built by my good friend. the late great David Morris R. I. P. multiple I. O. M & Domestic single titles to his credential. with bikes prepared by himself. Chrysalis Racing
She is kicking out a true. just shy of 120bhp @ rear wheel (Dyno sheet to prove)
I have a history file that reads like a novel
I have the original 3 spoke Brembo wheels. Showa forks & Exhaust system
Reason for selling: since the rebuild 11yrs ago. i have only covered 4. 66miles
The first year i owned her i covered 11. 00!
I changed the speedometer at the time of the rebuild. and still have the original one
She has done less than 20.000miles total
All MOT certificates to verify the mileage
Looking for 19. 95. open to offers and a possible P. X
Also the possibility of changing the Forks. wheels and exhaust to original spec to reduce the price to 15. 95 The price of 19. 95 is open to negotiation and a possible PX. The price of 15. 95 is non negotiable
