Description
Uploaded a video clip of a walkaround and start up of the bike.
After talking with a local dealer I've dropped the price from £9.950 to £8.600.
I've also Removed KTM 950 and 990 form part ex options after attempting to sit on one yesterday.
and I've added the Honda Crossrunner 800 (With Luggage) and Honda varadero xl1000 (With Luggage) as a part ex options.
I've had this bike over three and a half years. and I really enjoy owning and riding it. so if it doesn't sell I'll still be happy knowing it'll be there next spring. It's 11 years old so please expect some age related marks. there is a chip on the front mudguard. if you know it's there. and a few specs on the clear coat on the rear fender. but not enough make you want to change anything. it's been like that for all the time I've had it. and I like my bikes being pristine. just being honest
10 Months Tax and 9 Months MOT
There are many Fatboy's out there. and out of them there are many nice ones. I would put this one up there with the best of them. OK so there are loads out there where the owners have spent a rip roaring fortune on them. but I think this one strikes a great balance. Fantastic looks and Kudos with a pocket friendly price.
It's a great looking bike with loads of nice touches. I like the idea of less being more. so no bolted on tat here. Plain and simple a Fatboy as it should be. stripped back to show that softail frame at the rear end.
Wide internally wired beachbars. La Pera barebones seat. nice attactive paint job. Short Shot exhaust for that Harley Rip. and a few finishing touches.
Since I've had it I've coverd 4000 trouble free miles. not a lot by anybodies standards. but it's always started first time on the button. It was serviced and documented by Motorcycle Vision with a next service due at 18.000miles
I however changed the engine oil and filter every spring plus transmission oil this year. fitted a K+N filter the first year I had it and have washed it and re-oiled it on a yearly basis.
I don't usually use the little wind vest screen. but on the colder days/longer runs it does come in handy. it's just an old screen that I cut down. it's on quick disconnect mounts. so it's off in seconds. so if it's not your thing. then you could ditch it or get a larger screen and use the existing detachable hardware. As i said. I don't usually have it on.
2 Sets of Keys and Alarm Remotes. V5 Present and in my name.
As you can see there is also the factory seat complete with pillion and mini sissy bar. IMHO it looks far better that some of the larger sissy bars.
You can also see a walk around and start up of the bike.
Im not looking for a Swap or a PX. however if it helps with the sale of this bike I might be willing to take a part ex so WHY.
Things that might interest me would be:
Honda Varadero xl1000 (With Luggage)
Sportster 883 1200 (SOMETHING THAT WOULD MAKE A NICE PROJECT)
Buell Ulysses (With Luggage)
BMW GS RT LT 1150 1200 (With Luggage)
Triumph Tiger 955i 1050 (With Luggage)
Honda ST1300 (With Luggage)
Honda Crossrunner 800 (with Luggage)
I've set the classified price at the minimum I'll take for a part ex/Swap. in line with rules etc.
So be realistic with your ideas of prices. and I'm not really looking for anything that's been to the moon and back. and I would prefer a cash sale.
I can box up all parts and have this delivered with the bike. there are many UK Courriers that go the length and bredth of the country for £150. But this would be up to the Buyer to arrange and their expense.
Now for the boring bits. I won't be sending this bike overseas. or releasing it before the cash is in my hand. No WU transfers etc. I know it's nice to dream. so if your not really that serious please don't waste my time.
No test rides without the full price in my hand and proof of insurance.
I live in the North East of Scotland. 60 miles North of Aberdeen. So be aware of this. However I will help with travel shipment storage for Serious buyers.
If you want me to keep the bike for you then I'll require a £200 deposit. If you turn up to view the bike and don't like it then you'll get your money back. however if you don't bother to show up for the viewing then I'll be keeping the deposit. can't say fairer than that.
Please e-mail through Motorcycles-for-sale for a response. and a telephone number will be provided to serious buyers.
