Description
Well here goes. I'm finally having to sell my Guzzi. Its a rare Nero Corsa model among the last of the Le Mans models built in a limited run of 200. It has had one previous owner. I am the second.
The bike is in pretty good condition but being a 10 year old bike it does have some minor marks but nothing that a little time and care could not fix. The bike is equipped with high level titanium exhausts these do have a couple of small dents on them that I have tried to photograph. The previous owner said these were caused by a combination of a gravel drive and a shed door.
I also have the original black lafranconi cans in unmarked condition complete with original hangers. in addition to the exhausts the bike also has a genuine Moto Guzzi upgraded ECU which removes the lumpy mid range problems normally associated with this model. I also have the original ECU as well.
Needless to say being one of the Corsa models it has Ohlins suspension front and rear as well as Brembo gold brakes. The original carbon front mudguard is in place and in good condition and is a work of art to look at. It also has a genuine Guzzi carbon starter motor coveras pictured the bike comes with an original Guzzi grab rail there is also a small Guzzi bag which attaches to it.
Included in the sale is the registration number V11 TWN which complements the bike nicely.
Now for the bad bits. The odometer is not working. It was working when I bought the bike but stopped shortly after. I estimate i have done no more than 3.000 miles since buying the bike as I find it very painful to ride due to arthritis. There is a little paint flaking on the engine and gearbox but it is not excessive and I have tried to photo the worst areas.
There are a couple of fasteners that have started to rust but not many of them they are the exception rather than the norm.
The bike has a short MOT but I am trying to book it in for this week. The bike is probably also due a service. I self serviced it when i bought it changing the fluids filters and doing the valve clearances but it could probably do with being done again.
So all in all a rare bike that while not a show queen is not in too bad condition with some desirable bits for sale due to my dodgy shoulders.
The bike is available to view. Any questions either message me via Motorcycles-for-sale or give me a call. Thanks for reading.
