BSA Gold Star scrambler pre 65 classic race DBD34 500cc

BSA 500cc DBD34 GoldStar pre 65 scrambler.
This machine came to me as part of a collection of machines purchased from a private collector.
It runs really good and sounds sweet.
The gearbox feels just like a scrambles box with 1st 2nd and 3rd close together but no markings on the box to confirm this but it is machined for reverse camplate. but set up for 1 up 3 down.
I suspect it has a triumph clutch fitted and it works !.
The engine is a very sweet sounding motor and no oil leaks.
As to the frame it has been heavily modified for motocross use with extra strengthening plates on the down tubes and the steering head area. I cannot find any frame number to confirm the original origins for the bike.
Look at the pictures and make your own minds up on originality. I am just presenting a bike for sale.
