2008 Ducati Sport Classic 1000

2008 Ducati Sport Classic 1000 Biposto for sale. It currently has around 7,700 miles but might go up slightly as I ride it once every week or two to keep the engine fresh. Total production numbers are not public but there is said to be only a couple thousand of these bikes produced worldwide and black is a rare color. Possibly only hundreds of these bikes imported to the US. This was the bike in the opening and closing scenes in Tron: Legacy.
I am the third owner of this beautiful bike and took great care of it. It has had regular oil changes and an abundance of preventative maintenance done. It has a few very minor modifications over stock. Tires have lots of tread left. All maintenance was done by Clay at Pasta Performance Motorsport in Rancho Cordova Ca.
Modifications:-Corse Dynamics fender eliminator and brake light-carbon fiber clutch cover-motogadget front turn signals-Shorai lithium ion battery (saves several pounds of weight!) -Termignoni exhaust system
Recent maintenance completed in the last 700 miles: (over $2200 worth of work)-front forks polished and the fork seals replaced-8k valve service-timing belt replaced-oil changed-chain replaced-brake fluid -spark plugs-air filter-air/fuel ratio tuned
The paint is in great shape and I recently had the whole bike detailed for $300 which included an engine steam clean to get any fluid buildup and dirt off. There are a couple minor paint imperfections which I tried to picture as best as possible. There is also still a small amount of rubber that burnt onto the exhaust from my riding boots. Maybe you can be more successful removing it than I could.
The bike will come with the OEM front turn signals, as well as the OEM tail light, rear turn signals, and rear fender. It will also include the red dealership key, a spare key, and the Ducati owners manual. I will also include a bike cover.
