1969 BSA B44VS

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW VERY CAREFULLY. FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ITEM. I HAVE TRIED TO PROVIDE AS THOROUGH AS POSSIBLE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS MOTORCYCLE. THIS BIKE IS OVER 50 YEARS OLD AND HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED, JUST MAINTAINED IN RUNNING CONDITION.
THE ITEM: This is an original 1969 BSA B44VS for sale as is with no warranty. Matching engine/frame numbers [see photos].
DETAILS: The motorcycle is missing only the chain guard; the handlebars are not original, although the grips are. The tool roll is there but incomplete. There is a crack in the headlight lens and small dent in the chrome rim (shown in the photos).
I am the fourth owner as far as I know. I personally know the 2nd and 3rd owners. The 3rd owner did not put the bike on the road and kept it in inside storage with the fuel system completely drained. I purchased the bike in 2008 with 17,867 miles on it. For the 14 years I've owned it, I've ridden it only occasionally. It has always been stored inside. In the last year, I have made several repairs and improvements including: a completely new wiring harness sourced in England, a new Amal Concentric #930 carburetor, new Dunlop K70 tires front and rear, and a new Zenor diode. A few years ago, the gearchange main shaft broke and I replaced it along with the complete gear cluster taken from another B44 motor. I have rebuilt and adjusted the clutch installing new friction plates and clutch springs and adjusted the primary chain to proper tension. I recently installed a new battery.
The bike is in running condition, starts, and goes down the road through all the gears. I have always kept fresh oil in the tank and have used only high-octane gasoline as fuel. The brakes operate as they should and the horn works.

PICKUP: Please note, this motorcycle is located on the island of Martha's Vineyard and pickup from the mainland will involve a ferry trip for the buyer at their cost, if picking up in West Tisbury, MA.
DELIVERY: I am willing to deliver the motorcycle to Woods Hole MA and split the cost of the ferry trip with the buyer after final payment clears via bank wire.
