1963 Triumph TR6SS DESERT SLED TROPHY TR6

Up for sale is my Triumph 1963 TR6SS Desert Sled. I picked up this bike a few years ago from a well-known enthusiast here in California. The bike is believed to have been an original Checkers MC bike. I just picked it up from Kiyo's Garage in SoCal, if you don't know him, he's a well known master mechanic. He does all my work. Kiyo went through the bike and tuned it up and put a brand new Bates seat on it that was custom-made by Dana at Bates Leathers.
The bike runs really strong and has lots of power. The gas tank shows a beautiful original patina paint, and the inside has no rust or issues. It has a nicely modified oil tank as well, with the modified filler. I had Kiyo pressure test the oil and gas tanks when I first purchased this bike, and both were fine. He also went through the electrical and made sure everything was okay. The bike has great period Desert Sled parts, including the exhaust, an original chromed Q air filter (impossible to find), and a really nice Ceriani front end. Kiyo thinks the engine was most likely recently rebuilt and it seems like it has a nice sounding cam. It's running no battery, the front headlight functions, and you can easily add a taillight if so desired.
