1956 Lambretta Scooter LD150

This is a Lambretta LD 150 Scooter dismantled for restoration. I have owned it for a long time and realise that I will not get around to restoring it so have decided to sell it to another enthusiast for them to enjoy. There are some new parts included such as a new kick start mechanism installed, wiring loom and cables, head bearings and leg shield runners. The engine ran before the scooter was dismantled and turns freely, however a rebuild will probably be needed by now. There is a small repair to the leg shield lower edge which needs finishing. The engine and frame numbers correspond to 1956, according to the club website, and the scooter is likely to be one of Pride and Clark's re-paints as the original colour can be seen. The speedo is in MPH so it is likely to be UK supplied. There is no reg plate or V5 so it will need to be re-registered through the club when finished. Unfortunately, I cannot find the handlebar tubing which may have been lost in the house move. I will not break the scooter but only sell it complete. These scooters are very well engineered with shaft drive and tough construction so should go on for another 67 years when completed. I have a parts manual which will be included as the drawings are very clear and helpful. This authentic scooter will be a real pleasure to own once restored.
