Triumph 5TA 1959 reg. 897 GT X T100

Triumph 5 TA - T100 1959 Matching engine and frame numbers and original GTX number plate.
I purchased this bike from a friend several years ago after it had an intensive rebuild with the intention of using it during the summer. Everything was stripped and rebuilt to a good standard.
Wheels have all been rebuilt with stainless spokes with the added benefit of twin leading shoes on the front and Borrani WM aluminum rims with a new set of tyres. Tank and panels resprayed, new speedometer, headlight exhausts, mud guards the list goes on. The bike has done 503 miles since rebuild which I was going to add a few more when I purchased it!
The bike will need a new rear sprocket in the near future and the gasket on the carb does drip very slightly if the fuel tap is left on overnight but that's about it.
The bike is 64 years old so but this is a great usable classic. The bike is available to view.
The reason for sale is I am reducing my collection of bikes that I don't use so there's a couple more that will be coming up for sale shortly. Due to the age etc. the bike is sold as pictured with no known faults apart from the ones mentioned. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer them.
