Description
This is daily driver quality rare V7 Sport.
Built November 1972. Fairly original with exception of being repainted and beautiful repro seat.
Bike runs great, starts immediately and handles fantastic.
It has the correct and unique to the sport "CROSS" Borrani rims. It has the rare original Silentium exhaust with straight edged tips and shark gill vents in excellent condition.
It has its share of patina but no crash damage. Light scratches to valve covers, off which I have very nice clean original scratch free ones to go with it. It tracks straight.
There are some touched up paint chips on the tank but no dings or dents. Inside of tank is very clean. One fork slider has a scratch from a tie down buckle. I have a perfect replacement slider that goes with the bike. I was waiting until I had to replace fork seals but they are still fine. There is a scratch on rear fender. Otherwise just a bit dirty because I ride this bike.
The tires are older but have plenty of tread and I don't push them to the limit.
The ignition switch occasionally needs a jiggle of the key to turn ignition on. It's never been an issue and I just got used to it. However, I have a genuine NOS replacement I have not installed yet. It is an easy plug and play install and is factory correct.
I have a NOS under seat trouble light that goes with the bike. When I got the bike it was missing and I sourced a new one.
The chrome lined cylinders have never been inspected by me personally, but the previous owner said they were fine. When I changed the oil I saw no evidence of flaking chrome. We live in the dry desert southwest and this bike has spent its life in New Mexico - so it's a dry environment and the bike has also been regularly used.
Bike is sold as-is where is and I can assist with loading bike with you or your choice of shipper. All sales are final. It's an old bike that runs great now but like anything old can implode tomorrow! However, these old Guzzi's are about as reliable an antique you can find!
You get the bike, the extra parts, and clean title in my name.
I can take Zelle, PayPal friends/fam, Venmo, Bank Wire.
