Suzuki RGV 250, 1991, 2-Stroke Spares Repair Project Barn Find, Valuable Plate

For sale, this iconic bike is becoming very collectible.
The bike has been abandoned indoors on my farm for the last 15 years. The owner has had it since 1994 and at one point did use it on the track. He has finally given permission for it to be sold, he owes me thousands in back rent so hopefully I'll recover some of the money. The bike is mostly complete, but the pictures do the fairings justice-they are in fact cheap track day use fibreglass, not genuine Suzuki parts. The engine does run, but the bike is not offered as a running machine-and is sold as seen for spares/repair.
There is no V5 or any other paperwork. I am fully aware the three digit plate is potentially worth a lot of money, perhaps even more than the bike. However, the V5 would have to be applied for from the DVLA and as far as I know this bike would need to pass an MOT in order to retain the number plate. At this stage the bike will not pass an MOT, it doesn't start or even have lights. For these reasons the bike is being sold, as is, where is with no guarantees offered for the bike or the plate. I have HPI checked it, and can confirm the VIN on the frame is the correct one to match the registration plate. However, I do not believe the engine to be the original.
