1953 BSA A7 Shooting Star 500cc

Bought this BSA Shooting Star from my friend two months ago. He has not used it for several months, he started it once but his legs like mind could not withstand the force required to start it.
It seems in good condition, needs new battery and a bit of tlc, new petrol, etc. then it should start ok.
One of the early Shooting Stars with plunger rear suspension.
Comes with two workshop manuals, some gaskets and V5 which is in my name. I also have a few receipts from 2019 including refurb. of magneto. To be collected from March, Cambs. Cash on collection or bank transfer.
After looking at the wheel rims there are a few places pitted and a few rust spots on the rear rim, but should buff out ok, the bike is 70 years old.
