Rare 1921 Sunbeam collectors motorbike bike classic vintage history

Standard 1921 Sunbeam.

Cylinder capacity 499cc. ore x stroke 85mm x 88mm. frame number 11748. Engine number 10401. gearbox 12567. (these numbers have been verified by Bonhams )

In 1921 a third version of the 31/2 h.p model was available along with the standard and semi sporting models. The new sporting solo T.T model reflected Thomas Corbett de la hays senior T.T win the previous year.

The one I have for sale has the Marston patented. leaf spring suspension on the front wheel. This model also retained drum brakes front and rear.

This has under-gone a full nuts and bolts restoration. It has been valued & authenticated by an international auction house @ £10.000

This Sunbeam was found on the Isle of man. 20 years ago. brought back to the UK and restored over the last 2 years. Original registration has been applied for.
