Description
Registered 1958 but with a March 1955 dated engine this Gold Star was purchased by the previous owner as a stalled restoration project in 2012. Being a skilled ex mechanic with a well equipped home work shop the bike was finished recently and is in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically. It is equipped with a very rare Supperleggra top yolk and and original Taylor Dow twin leading shoe front brake. In addition it has an A RRT gearbox ( BSA Spitfire ). GP carb and Dunlop alloy rims front and rear. The bike has had a complete going through to insure that all is good working order. This is a really well sorted example. that has been expertly set and rides perfectly. It remains in beautiful condition and comes complete with an original buff logbook dating from 1970 along with its current V5C logbook and a dating certificate from the Gold Star Club. A great collectors motorcycle. For more info and pictures go to www. godinbanks. com or you can follow us on Facebook.
