Ducati 1098R Race Bike

This is my very special Superbike. Stripped and rebuilt over last winter with the intention of racing in 2013. This hasn't happened due to family commitments. I have done less than 100 miles this year!

This is NOT a crash damaged road bike made into a track bike. it is a purpose built race bike from original. A few minor marks here and there to be expected on a race bike but nothing to note.

V5 (in my name). the original 1098R road fairings are present and boxed up. I have the original key. Ducati manual and the Ducati (emergency) imobiliser code card. The bike has only covered 3.100 miles since new. A genuine bike with a traceable history. a number plate allocated and all frame/engine numbers registered with the DVLA.

- Engine refreshed. valve clearances. timing checked and belts changed 100 miles ago

- Power commander and custom map - The 1198cc engine has been purposely left as the stock factory 1098r tune. This is much stronger than the standard 1098 or 1198 engines however not unreliable or requiring regular refreshes like an aftermarket tune can be

- Ducati Corse rear ride height adjuster to give more set up options

- Quick release race sprocket carrier and spare sprockets

- New full set of Ducati clutch plates (metal and soft) with new springs & retainers 100 miles ago

- 1198 close ratio race gearbox installed less than 1000 miles ago (as these are more robust than the original 1098r gearbox). A quickshifter hasnt been used on this gearbox

- Brembo monoblock calipers. Brembo master cylinder. Goodridge brake lines & new Performance friction race pads

- New oil cooler & oil pressure switch

- New Tsubaki 520 race chain

- New folding adjustable levers

- Digi gear connected directly to ECU

- Carbon fibre swing arm cover. shark fin. tank guards. mudguard. etc.

- Termi carbon race exhaust cans & titanium headers (with removable baffles) & Ducati race ECU

- Ohlins forks. TTX shock & steering damper

- Aftermarket large bore ram air ducts

- Ducati Corse1098R rear stand

- Stomp grips

- Freshly painted race fairings fitted as photo's & spare freshly painted race seat unit

- All the usual 1098R special edition parts such as race slipper clutch. upgraded "R" engine internals & increased compression. DTC traction control. lap timer. data download lead. instrument panel. Marchesini forged lightweight wheels with Brembo discs
