Description
Hi and Welcome to the sale of my Triton "Cafe Racer" motorcycle. Twice winner of Best in show category.
I am rather proud to say you will struggle to find another as immaculate (and still ridden) Triton for sale.
This is the nicest one I've seen in a long while for sale or otherwise. a proper genuine built Triton using correct parts that would have been used at the time. NOT one built with off the shelf parts and thrown together. as you can see this has had time spent not only on building her but a lot of time sourcing the correct and rare juicy components.
Just been Taxed and MOT'd and past with flying colours.
1966 Norton Wideline featherbed with Triumph Tiger T110 Pre unit engine/gearbox.
Norton "SHORT" Roadholder forks
Akront ally rims front/rear
Rare genuine GRIMECA 4 Leading shoe front drum with air scoops both side and extra cooling vents with gauze fitted. (Cost a fortune and can stop the bike dead on its nose)
Norton conical rear hub.
Matched pair of Amal monoblock carburettors. (Rare to find a matched pair. usually the ones you see both have the float chamber facing the same side)
Fibreglass fuel and central oil tanks fitted.
Genuine SMITHS Chronometric Speedo and Rev counter. both work correctly.
Twin MEGAPHONE pipes. sounds superb.
The bike really does pull like a steam train and can really shift too. and the sound is amazing too.
I cant really say much more other than the pictures don't do it justice. so to fully appreciate this proper Triton please don't hesitate to come view.
I have the bike advertised elsewhere so if sold will be removed.
This is a great bike and you will be hard pushed to find a better more crowd attracting example.
Full V5 in my name and tons of previous MOT's.
I would require a non refundable deposit of £200 paid by bank transfer and the rest in cash on collection. I may consider part exchange depending what you've got.
Thanks for looking.
