Lambretta SX 250 TS1

Hi Thanks for looking at my beloved SX 250 TS1.
This is an opportunity to own a fantastic. top of the range Lambretta SX.
I have owned this scooter for two years now and can honestly say it has never given me the slightest problem. It starts well and runs like a dream. It is very very fast.
The paint job is impressive. candy apple blue (metalflake) which is always commented on. There are some slight chips through use but nothing major. this scooter turns heads wherever it goes.
The scooter has an outboard front disc assembly from ScootsRS which is essential as its so fast. It is a genuine 250 TS1 in an SX200 lump on a 1966 Italian SX150. I am not the greatest when it comes to technical questions but I will list the specifications as i know them;
200 Engine casing from Chiselspeed
Genuine Ducati electronic coil (CDI box) from MBD
71mm Race tour piston
Race - tou. 60 x 115mm Crankshaft 35mm/ 200 - 250. Mikuni Carb
6 plate clutch from Cambridge Lambretta 150 Pace maker gearbox
Stainless long range tank
All stainless fixings JL4. race exhaust
Outboard Front Disc assembly
Adjustable rear shock from Chiselspeed Tubeless stainless steel rims
Duro DM 1056 3. 50 - 10 GP6000 race tyres
One off seat by Tony Archer.
Frame No. SX150 751*** Engine No. SX200 834***
Which I am led to believe are both correct for 1966. The previous owner had an agreed insurance value of £6.000 with a major provider.
The scooter has done about 1260 miles since its restoration so it has many many miles/years left in it. Although this scooter is not cheap it is a one off. you will not be disappointed with it. I would recommend viewing as the photos cannot do it justice. No test rides without full value being left as deposit.
I have previously successfully sold scooters on Motorcycles-for-sale.biz but I have also been messed around by the dreamers and schemers that seem to plague these pages. £200 via paypal within 24 hours of completion of the sale. with the balance being cash on collection. I will not ship abroad and I am not interested in swapping/exchanging the scooter for anything other than cash.
