2010 Harley-Davidson XR 1200 in Black, only 5800 miles

Up for sale is my partners XR1200 with only 5800 miles on the clock!

This is a fairly rare Harley model & is likely to become a collectors piece. Not only does it pack a 90 bhp punch. it also handles well. stops well. has sticky tyres &. unlike most Harleys. actually has some ground clearance! So good they made a race series for them (which is still running in the States)!

As you can see from the photos it's in lovely condition & she usually only uses it on nice days.

It's used. so not 'out of the showroom' but it is very clean with no major marks that I can see.

My partner works for Harley-Davidson (Head Office) & she bought the bike from a colleague who was leaving in May this year with only 1600 miles on it. Since then it's had 2 services!

The bike comes fitted with the Evotech frame crash bobbins. Willie G clutch cover & a screen (not shown in the photos) which we fitted to ease the strain of an 1100 mile round trip to the Thunder in the Glens rally in August. It's also fitted with the H-D hands free 'Smart System' alarm / immobiliser.

The bike has had a Pipercross air filter fitted & the 'Euro flap' intake restrictor removed which made a dramatic improvement to the way it ran!

Mot'd in early August which it obviously passed without being touched.

V5 present & in her name.

This has to be the cheapest low mileage XR (if you ignore the ex-race & repaired bikes!). This has nothing to do with its condition. we simply have our eye on something else & would like to move it on promptly.
