Description
Hello and welcome to the sale of my mk 2 Aprilia rs250 which I have owned since late 2010. As I had a mk 1 Chesterfield in my early 20's it was always my intention at some point to get another RS and here it is. When I first got the bike it was a little rough around the edges with the odd mark here and there so to restore it to its former glory the following has been done to the bike:
Full professional respray (except the grey seat unit) in original colours with high quality near identical graphics which are lacquered over to an exceptionally high standard by a professional motorcycle restorer:
Goodridge braded brake hoses shrink wrapped in black.
Bridgestone BT090's early 2013 front and rear.
All corroded nuts and bolts replaced with genuine parts where possible.
New bottom yoke and yoke nut as threads for the aluminium top nut were crossed up.
Head race bearings.
The bike runs perfect and has covered just short of 12900 miles. It is in exceptional condition as you can see from the pictures. It has a full Scorpion stainless steel exhaust system (jetted to suit) which sounds awesome and makes it sound exactly as a two stroke should. Inside the standard airbox is an uprated pipercross red panel filter. I have regularly changed gearbox oil and has been run on fully synthetic rock oil injector. The bike has been used every year under my ownership only covering around 2000 miles since 2010. The bike currently has MOT till the end of March 2014 and TAX till end of March 2014. I am by no means in a hurry to sell the bike and has been priced accordingly amongst other machines that have recently and currently available. so if it doesn't sell it doesn't sell. Grab your chance to get a clean one while you can as mk2 prices are continuing to gradually rise.
Thanks for looking and good luck.
