Ducati 1198 SP Track bike

This bike was owned by Ducati UK and used as a VIP pillion bike at the British Superbike rounds. Basically if you were brave enough (and I wasn't and turned down an offer) you could ride pillion to Neil Hodgson for a lap round the circuit in front of the crowd! It has only covered 868 miles in two years.

This bike has a unique modification. pillion grab rails welded on to the Aluminium tank! The bike has race fairings on the front and sides. the seat unit is original. The following parts are not fitted to the bike or included in the sale; headlights. indicators. mirrors. side stand. number plate hanger and original bodywork. Therefore. although registered. this bike is being sold for track use only and isn't currently legal for the road.

On display in our Winchester dealership for a closer inspection if required. This would make a great track day bike as it has Ducati Traction control. quick shifter. Ohlin's suspension. Marchesini wheels. Brembo brakes and larger fuel tank. It has also had Termignoni slip on exhausts fitted (originals are included in sale).
