MATCHLESS G15CS. 1966. JUST IN FROM THE STATES. ALL TAXES AND DUTY PAID. REGISTERED ON THE GOVERNMENT N. O. V. A. DATABASE.
CHASSIS NUMBER 114185. ENGINE NUMBER G15CS114185. I'VE RIDDEN THIS BIKE ABOUT FIVE TIMES. AND SOMETIMES IT STARTS WITHIN A COUPLE OF KICKS AND SOMETIMES IT TAKES TEN OR SO. ONCE ITS FIRED UP IT RUNS VERY VERY WELL. NO SMOKE OR CLONKS. IT PULLS VERY WELL THROUGH THE GEARS AND SOUNDS GREAT! COULD DO WITH SETTING UP FOR TICKOVER. ( CARB CLEAN? ) WHEN THIS BIKE WAS INITIALLY CHECKED OVER WE NOTICED THE TELL TELL SIGNS OF AN ENGINE REBUILD. NEW GASKETS. HYLOMAR ORANGE SEALANT HERE AND THERE. ON CHECKING THE VALVE CLEARANCE WE NOTICED NEW VALVES ON THE EXHAUST SIDE. I AM NOT SAYING FOR SURE THIS MOTOR HAS BEEN REBUILT BUT THE SIGNS ARE THERE AND IT RUNS VERY WELL AND AS I SAID. NO HORRIBLE NOISES OR SMOKE. IT DOES HAVE AN A SLIGHT OIL LEAK THAT LOOKS LIKE IT COMES FROM THE RETURN OIL LINE FITTING. (HOW RARE!) FRONT AND REAR WHEELS ARE STRAIGHT AND HAVE PRETTY GOOD CHROME. THERE ARE IS SOME RUST BUT THEY ARE VERY USABLE. THE FORKS OPERATE AS THEY SHOULD BUT THEY ARE IN NEED OF OIL. OIL SEALS AND GAITERS. TOP AND BOTTOM YOKES ARE CHROMED AS IS THE GEARBOX OUTER CASING AND THE ENGINE PLATES. SPEEDO IS READING 4545 MILES ( WHO KNOWS IF THAT IS CORRECT. I WOULD SAY NOT ) FUEL TANK IS DENT FREE WITH GOOD PAINT. AS IS ALL THE TINWEAR. THERE ARE SOME CHIPS HERE AND THERE. HIGH LEVEL PIPES ARE SOLID AND HELP WITH SECURE FITTINGS. MOTOR AND GEAR BOX ARE HEALTHY. K&N FILTERS ON THE CARBSFRAME APPEARS TO HAVE ORIGINAL PAINT AND IS IN GOOD CONDITION. ALL THE LIGHTS WORK. FRONT BRAKE OPERATES BUT IS RUBBISH. I WOULD SUGGEST THE SHOES ARE SOAKED IN OIL FROM THE BLOWN FORK SEALS. REAR BRAKE OPERATES CORRECTLY. TYRES LOOK NEW. FITTED WITH A SINGLE SEAT BUT A DUEL SEAT CAME WITH IT AND IT COMES WITH THE BIKE I DONT KNOW IF IT IS THE CORRECT ONE BUT IT COMES WITH THE BIKE.
OVERALL A CHANCE TO OWN AN EXCITING RARE FACTORY HYBRID THAT IS HEALTHY AND GREAT FUN TO RIDE.

1. MOT the motorcycle on the chassis number.
2. Insure the motorcycle on the chassis number.
3. Take all the paper work to your local DVLA office and you will then receive the Tax disc.
Please note. as from October 2013 all paperwork will need to be sent directly to the DVLA.
We will supply all the forms needed for the registration procedure. this will include custom and excise paper work. original title or dating certificate.
