Norton Dominator 650SS 1966

The iconic Norton Dominator 650SS is regarded by many as Norton's finest production motorcycle. This is an excellent example. I found this bike in Hong Kong (when it was still a British colony) and brought it back with me to the UK ten years ago. It underwent a complete engine strip down and rebuild by Rick Parkington (Classic Bike's technical guru) about nine years ago. Frame was powder-coated and tank etc. stripped and resprayed. Boyer electronic ignition fitted. flat bars. new pipes and silencers and wheels were rebuilt at that time. The bike is running on a single monobloc carb for ease of maintenance.
The engine and frame numbers (18SS119142) match. The bike runs well. and pulls through all the gears as it should. With its revolutionary slimline featherbed frame. it goes round corners like it's on rails. The bike is MOT'd and taxed (free) till October this year. I have done very few miles on it (it's been sorned for the last four years) and have lost my garage.
The bike is in very good condition. with some pitting on the chrome rims (from being laid up) and the chronometric speedo (which is working) needs to be recalibrated. I'm happy to answer questions or to send more pictures of the bike. though I really recommend viewing in person.
