Moto Guzzi Daytona 1000

An original unmolested example of a 1993 Daytona 1000.
This is a genuine UK bike imported by Three Cross and sold by APS Motorcycles when new and first registered 0n 1-1-1994 by its first owner who used the bike every year up until 2003 and had covered 23. 30 km before decommissioning the bike and laying it up for the next 7 years.
It was then purchased by a collector on 26-10-2010 who had the bike fully recommissioned by Moto Corsa on 10-1-2012.
The bike has covered a total of 24000 km (14880 miles) and has a fully stamped service book by APS Motorcycles and Moto Corsa.

The History file on this bike is very extensive and includes all old MOT certificates Sorn letters and Tax discs.
The Original Three cross importation document is present as are the original order /purchase documents and invoice / bill of sale from APS Motorcycles.
The safety recall letter for the rear universal joint to the rear drive box is present as is the receipt for this work having been carried out.
All service receipts are present including the recommissioning invoice from Moto Corsa on 10-1-2012 for a total of £2541 which included new clutch plates. Fuel pump. Timing belts. Fork seals. Filters. Oils. Fluids. Plugs. etc.
This bike is mechanically perfect and has just been fitted with a new pair of Metzler Dual compound tyres front and rear.
The paintwork is in excellent condition save for a chip on the petrol tank which can be covered by a tank protector as this looks like it has been created by the previous owners belt buckle.
Currently Taxed until January 2014 and Mot'd until17th January 2014.
These UK spec bikes are very difficult to find in this condition with a complete history record and all warranty work and recalls undertaken.
This bike is as it came from the Factory in 1993 and is as exotic today as what it was then. they are a rare and pleasurable site to see as much as they are to own and ride. Daytona's are now becoming to the current generation of Guzzi enthusiasts what the Le Mans Mk1 was to the previous generation of Guzzi enthusiasts and these Iconic bikes are now representing a very usable investment and are appreciating at a steady rate as more people get turned on to them.
