Description
He we have what must be one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever produced.
The MV Augusta F4 312 RR 1078cc in what I feel is the best colour combination even nicer than the standard red version.
This is the 1078cc version instead of the more common 998 cc giving you mindblowing performance. I have ridden many bikes over the last 25 years and I have never experienced such power delivery on anything else. this really is a rocket ship and is only for experienced riders.
Don't compare this to the inferior version. this is a exceptional bike with stunning spec including:
Slipper clutch unit and electronic engine braking. Forged Marchesini light alloy Wheel rims. Brembo mono block radial calipers and Brembo discs. Factory steering damper. Close ratio gearbox.
Not forgetting the claimed 190BHP and the 312 KPH top speed from which the bikes takes its name. tell that to the owner of a 998 cc bike who tells you they are exactly the same.
She is a one private owner machine as shown on the V5 which I have. being purchased from Forza Italia in March 2010.
She has covered only 6000 miles from new and is in beautiful condition looking as good ( If not better ) as the day it rolled out of the showroom.
She has been over serviced as you would expect with such exceptionally low mileage being serviced three times and will be serviced again in March this year. he MOT will need renewing in March but if you are concerned I am happy to put 12 months on the bike for your peace of mind before collection.
I have spend a huge sum improving the bikes looks ( if that's possible ). to give you an idea:
The Single sided swinging arm. op yoke. Exhaust tailpipes and kick plates have all been professionally polished to a mirror finish.
The standard black seat cover has been replaced with a hand made bespoke seat cover and seat bump with Italian colour inserts.
The rear has been cleaned up with the removal of the indicators and number plate hanger and replaced with an LED rear lamp unit which incorporates the indicators. the number plate is supported on a alloy tail tidy showing off the best back end in the world of motorcycling.
The screen has been replaced with a double bubble dark smoke unit.
Performance and reliability has also been taken care of:
Genuine uprated MV water pump and impeller. Muzzy alumimium fan blades. Engine Ice specialist engine coolant. Replacement gel battery. Bespoke radiator support bracket.
Performance as I said is breathtaking as it is but low down power delivery could be improved so I invested in setting the bike up on a Dyno and having the ECU remapped to remove the flat spot all standard bikes suffer with and I had the cooling fans cut in temperature reduced. have the Dyno chart showing the power curve before and after the rolling road / Dyno set up. whist I was at it I also invested in:
New Iridium spark plugs. K&N Racing Air filter. The front pipe has been professionally decatted and the tail pipes were given a much nicer sound and performance increase by having the internals modified by a MV dealer to replicate the RG3 race silencers.
She comes with a MV bike cover and factory Optimate battery conditioner. he is fitted with Dunlop Qualifier tyres. the back is brand new only having covered a handful of miles. the front is also in excellent condition with thousands of miles left.
Has a CAT 1 alarm and immobiliser along with a fitment certificate ( I had it taken off the bike as I never leave it anywhere. I ride it and put it back in my garage and with the low use I was concerned about battery life with the alarm on all the time. It was also sensitive only needing a gentle touch to set it off) alarm works fine. put it back on if you fancy it.
As you can see I have the original book pack. owners manual and CD 2 x Keys. everything it came form the factory with. I also have all the original parts should you wish to put it back to standard.
Never been on a track. never been down the road. FULLY HPI clear ( I will buy the next owner a new HPi to go with the bike for your records ).
Come and see it. bring a mate who knows everything about MV's. you wont find a better package. still looks beautiful with some gentle tweaks but now runs better than ever.
Any questions just ask. no rush to sell its one of many toys I have that I never use which is a real shame and she needs using.
If you come and look at the bike and its not exactly as described I will give you £20 towards your travelling costs.
