For those of you with fond memories of motorcycling in the 80's. then you will know the name Harris.
Anyone. at the same time who lived in South London/Surrey/Sussex spent many a fine weekend at Boxhill looking at or watching the hundreds of bikes there. Hag Hughes was well known in the area and very fast (too fast sometimes) and he built this bike.

It used one of the first "Harribox" frames and was used in World Endurance racing and bears a scar on one side from a crash in Spain.
The frame was re-jigged by Harris and sold to Hag (Chassis Number HAG1). who put in a modified EXUP 1000
(1050 Cosworth pistons. Yoshimura stage 2 cams. Carrillo Con Rods. Vance and Hines clutch.
clever Unic steering damper. etc.). and then built a subframe around it.

Not liking the EXUP fairing. a much more elegant OWO1 is fitted and a one-piece tank and seat unit copying an EXUP tank. but with a RC30 tail unit.
