We are offering this outstandingly handsome special on behalf of well know bike builder. Gilbert Sills of the Cretingham Crank Company. who is not a computer person. Gilbert is a former Lotus Formula One race engineer. who works to a high standard of excellence. His trade mark being all the finely detailed parts created especially for each machine he builds. The JAP engine (number KOZ/F 56609/SE) is a model KO 500cc single. from 1937. Note the unique saddle suspension system with friction controlled damping. the individually crafted copper & brass fuel caps. the titanium exhaust heat shields & the beautifully made copper. brass & alloy handlebar controls. These are just a few of the special features that make this such a unique motorcycle. Work done includes carburettor rebuild. magneto rebuild. engine rebuild. plus much more. The frame number on the bike is WA2980. & matches the V5C registration document. The registration number is 570 YVL. Gilbert is selling this bike to make room for his next project which he is already building.
