A fully restored example of the Excelsior Manxman motorcycles which were raced extensively and competed in many world leading events of the period including the Manx Grand Prix. inning the lightweight events in 1936. 1937 and 1938. This extremely eye-catching 250cc example retains its original and striking features from the beautiful racing spec tank with chin pad. single OHC engine with bronze head (engine number BRAR 115). close ratio four speed Albion gearbox. brazed alloy brake plates. alloy wheel rims and racing magneto. It is believed that this motorcycle has never been registered for the road and consequently does not have a registration number.
