Ducati 851 Tricolor Superbike

I bought this bike over from Japan back in 2011 thinking it was an 851 superbike kit. I have since found out from Ducati that when the bike left the factory back in 1988 it was an 851 strada. Obviously someone has spent a lot of money and time adding superbike kit parts to make it what is today. This is a chance to own something really special for a bargain price. Ducati have told me that the engine number doesn't match up with the original so its had a replacement engine at some point but when we inspected the engine internally we found it has had a lot of money spent on it (not Standard) and it sounds amazing when running. The Bike has had other modifications too such as Ohlins Rear shock and a steering damper. Since I have imported the bike I HAVE NOT registered it on the road but I have all the import and duty documents. The bike is all there and with a little TLC it would make a fantastic track machine or a show bike (Ducati events etc.) or it could even be recommissioned for road use.
