1968 BSA A65 Lightning

A nice BSA A65 Lightning. Originally manufactured in 1968 and exported to Canada. It was re imported in 1993 and V5 states this. Looks good in the pictures has dings on the tank and chips on the panels. The original Dunlop rims are ok but not perfect. original pipes. seat. all good but not perfect or concours.
It does look nice on the eye. I put a wassail electronic ignition and new battery. New rear shoes. I did not chop any wires of the loom so this is original and i have the original points. plate. advance and condenser pack. She runs like a dream and pulls like a train. She has no chokes fitted but once warm is lovely. The original handlebar choke lever is present. The carbs look like they were renewed when re imputed and are like new.
A nice bike and a good bike to ride and improve as you own it.
