BMW R1200S 2006

Hi. this R1200S is in fantastic condition and looks as though it has never seen rain. Only 14. 18 miles.

No damage at all other than a scratch on the inside of the rear wheel.

This bike had every BMW option fitted at the factory including the desirable Sports Pack with proper Ohlins suspension front and rear. wider 6" rear wheel. BMW alarm. heated grips and switchable ABS braking.

In addition I have fitted Helibars to it which raise the bars about 1" to help your wrists on slow journeys. and an MRA slightly higher and tinted screen.

The parts of the bodywork where your legs and knees rub have a thin clear plastic covering called detecto which is almost invisible and can easily be removed. I have the original instructions for it which detail how.

The standard number plate has been changed for a slightly smaller one and mounted on a beautifully crafted alloy tail tidy.

All of the original parts. the handle bars. screen. tail tidy and no plate are included in the sale to be refitted if you wanted to.

The tyres are Metzeler sports. I had a recent new front fitted last summer which has covered about 2000 miles and is barely worn. rear about half worn but not squared off at all.

The bike had an MOT and full major service at Moto-technics BMW specialist yesterday. all fluids changed and a new battery fitted.

The service book is all stamped up to date.

All of the original paperwork is included. see photo.

This is a great. if not the best example of this iconic superbike. almost a HP2 - only 6 bhp less for half the price.

Low mileage. immaculate condition and in my opinion in the best colour. Arctic silver which is a sort of matt/satin finish.

Road tax disc expires 31st October 2014. absolutely ready to go. needs nothing.
