Yamaha TZ250 SPONDON, 2002 5KE, Ex Derek Welch

2002 model Spondon TZ250. ex-Derek Welch championship winning bike. This bike was kept in a private collection after Derek retired mid way through 2007 season.
I purchased this machine last year. then raced it with great success.

I raced a total of 7 meetings on it last year. 4 of them at Tonfanau and 4 good wins with it. 1 at aberdare park 3x3rds. 1 pembrey 2x4ths. 3 3 sisters 3x wins. in total 176 miles.

Crank still has plenty of service life left in it. rank cases are very good also recently refurbished it with new pistons. rings. small ends. gudgen pin. gaskets and clutch plates changed 60 miles ago.
full spec as follows
Spondon frame and swingarm. carbon dymag wheels. double core kit radiator. kit cylinders k800 new in 2007 but not used much. with very low miles. kit ignition. kit pipes. 2003 on airbox and fairings. 7 position curve map. Ohlins damper. Maxton front and rear suspension. bike is setup for avgas. maintained regardless of cost by Dennis Trollope throughout its life as he was a main sponsor. plenty of data. this is a very well looked after bike. you can eat your dinner of it. no crash damage.

Comes with spare 2002 fairing and rh air scoop. 2003 seat unit. new footrest hangers and pegs and rear brake pedal.
