Yamaha R1 - Very Special Track or Road bike

This is a very unique and highly specified 2003 Yamaha R1 Track bike but with virtually all the original road parts aswell.
I bought this bike from new with the intention of creating a very special track and occasional road (TT mainly) bike. I ran it in for 600 miles on stock parts and then added the following:
Ohlins Forks Ohlins shock, Ohlins steering damper, Marchesini 10 spoke alloy wheels, AP Racing six pot calipers and master cylinder (Goodrich hoses) - will lift the rear wheel at 100mph+Full titanium Akrapovic titanium system with Power Commander, Harris rear sets, Harris carbon front mudguard and frame protectors. carbon fuel tank lid Renthal front and rear sprockets (geared down slightly from stock), Starlane Stealth GPS 2 (wired in) lap timer - no beacons on pit wall needed. Simply turn on as you leave pits - track organisers can do nothing to stop you.

The original Yamaha wheels with new Pirelli Dragon Rain tyres (not used) and AP discs on the front (ie same as the dry Marchesini front wheel), Harris Paddock stands, Sparco tyre warmers, Assorted spares
Original Yamaha parts included
Silver/black fairings. seat unit, Forks, Shock, Brakes, Full exhaust system, Twin front light unit
These alone if you decided to sell them would recoup many hundreds if not into the thousands of pounds.
The bike has covered just over 5600 miles in total and the worst bit of damage is a scape down the rear seat unit which happened in the paddock!
Even in my limited hands this bike laps Portimao in 2minutes. With a bit more skill than I have I think the bike would go another 5/6 seconds quicker.
The PIrelli Supercorsa's have just one day on them.
I have mislaid my V5 so have ordered a new one from DVLA. This may not be with me before the sale finishes so if you are successful I am happy to wait for payment until it does arrive or I can send on if you want to pick up the bike straight away.
I have had so many good times on this bike and genuinely will be sad to see it go. I have decided to retire from track days and so it needs a good new home. If you missed out on the 2009 Big Bang R1 advertised this week then I reckon this could be worth going for.
