This rare old 1976 Laverda 1000 3CL has recently been imported from Spain where it has spent all its life. Sadly we here at DK Motorcycles have absolutely no knowledge or experience of these early classic Italian motorcycles and so are not comfortable or confident in saying what is good or bad. rite or wrong with this particular bike.
We have been advised that this is not a Jota but a 3CL model with a fairing retro fitted & this is backed up by the model type on the Spanish registration paperwork.
When we boosted it off a good battery the engine does turn over but we haven't had it running.

The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated once the bike is fixed up & road worthy.

WE HAVE GOT THE ORIGINAL SPANISH CERTIFICATE OF TITLE & will provide proof that VAT & Duty are paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT'd.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5.The DVLA will send you a tax disc with your age related registration number.
