Selling off my Yamaha RDs
1) Yamaha RD400F W reg. 1981 UK bike. The F was the last of the UK RD400 air cooled bikes. Matching numbers frame and engine 1A33xxxxx. Correct colour white and red. With red wheels. This bike was restored in 2011. Lots of cash spent. Full respray and engine rebuild. New expansion pipes. the sound of the 70s starts and runs very nice. I have not used in on the road for More than a year. It has been started often. It will need a full service to get it back to road ready.
2) Yamaha RD400 Daytona Special with ram air. This is a USA bike with full UK V5C. it has been in the UK since 1991. Matching numbers frame and engine 2V00xxxxx in white and red with black wheels. My understanding is the bike has had an engine rebuild since being in the UK. I have had the petrol tank. mudguards. side covers and tail piece sprayed ready for this year. It looks fantastic! The Daytona has the same engine as the rd400 but with a few mods from Yamaha including the ram air head. It has the original exhausts. The seat has a small nip on the side. I purchased this bike last year and have not used it. I have started it. runs fine!
3) This is the ionic Yamaha RD350LC in Black and red mars colours. Matching numbers 4L0 UK bike first registration August 1981. I have also had the paintwork done on this bike looks just great.

All the bikes will need servicing prior to taking on the road. No tax or mot on any of them however if the bikes sell for full price I will put them through the mot. Selling all 3 however I may split them. These bikes are the real deal 70s and early 80s 2-stroke rocket ships. The front wheel in the air days could be back! Selling for a fair price. these bike would look great in any collection. They are all going up and up in value. Reason for selling is I can't ride them just now and don't want the temptation every time I go in my workshop. Come and see the best of Yamaha. the best and last of the great two strokes.
