Honda RVF750RR RC45

Here we have a fine example of a Honda RVF750RR or RC45 on an S plate with only 8.268 miles on the clock!

I believe that only 200 of these bikes were made in 1994 by Honda to homologate the bike used to win the World Superbike Championship with John Kocinski.

I have owned it for over 7 years and it has been maintained regardless of expense (although all it has needed is regular routine servicing). It has lived in my office for the last few years but the engine has been started and run up to temperature regularly.

It is in immaculate condition but it has been ridden (needless to say on dry days only!) and hence is not concours although I would describe it as mint. I have fitted Gilles Variobars with Ducati master cylinders to fit under the screen and lower footpegs as I am 6 feet tall and found it hard to ride otherwise. I have all the original parts and I will be happy to return it to 100% standard if required. I also have a 17” front wheel for a conversion. although I have never felt the need to fit it. I am also including a carbon Micron race can which makes the bike sound fantastic!

Once returned to standard as above the bike will be 100% original.

I have a Honda maintenance manual that goes with the bike but unfortunately I do not have the original toolkit. The tailpiece is showing the usual cracks around the mounting bolts but I have repaired these with epoxy putty so they shouldn't get any worse. There are some small rub marks on the frame. I think possibly caused by being tied down in a van. but these are only visible on close inspection. The wheel paint is slightly marked but this is due to the paint being very thin to save weight. There is no other damage at all and the plastics are 100%.
