Yamaha R1 2009 Ultimate Track Bike

For sale is my much loved and looked after 2009 Yamaha R1 Crossplane model ultimate track bike.

Built from a stock road bike (with V5 in my name). no expense has been spared turning this into a super trackday tool. Currently in Milwaukee colours trackday fairings.

- Engine built (& serviced) by Pete Beale. showing 187BHP. Keeps up with S1000Rs & ZX10Rs. Only ever used Motul 300V and replaced every two track days.

Quoting Neil Hodgeson after riding it for three laps at Almeria circuit - "That is one of the best bikes I've ridden in a long time".

Fairings have the usual scuffs and scrapes from transportation to track days.

I got the bike as a Cat C from an insurance company in 2012 but only scuffed plastics - even the headlight wasn't broken. Still have the original forks.

Graves Velocity Stacks - Yamaha R1 (2009-2013)

Graves Motorsports Yamaha R1 50mm Velocity Stacks for the 2009-2012 models. These 50MM Velocity Stacks with Pivots were developed by Graves Motorsports for your Cross Plane Crank R1.

This stack kit improves power throughout the entire RPM range.

The staggered tops allow the cylinders to share the available volume of air in the R1's air-box evenly at low and mid range RPMs.

The shorter than stock lower stacks feed the R1's appetite for big air when the upper stacks raise improving top end power.

Graves Motorsports R1 suspension linkages are the result of continued testing and race experience on the Yamaha R1. These are an improvement for any level of rider. This linkage system can be found on many Yamaha R1 race bikes including Team Zyvax Racing Factory Graves Yamaha R1 bikes. The links are designed by Graves Motorsports suspension technicians and the exact ratios are proprietary information. Graves Motorsports will offer tech advice to customers that purchase this link through our WORKS program. The improved ride ability in all environments is evident when using this setup.

Graves Camshaft Set - Yamaha R1 (2009-2013)

These camshafts have been developed by our race team staff to provide the best overall performance gain from idle to red-line without compromise. This product is the result of countless hours of dyno and on track testing sessions. This is the same camshaft set that is available to our Graves Motorsports supported racers.

These cams were developed by Graves Racing programs to compliment the new cross-plane R1 engine.

The cam profiles are setup produce maximum power over the complete RPM range.
