Description
Up for sale is my pride and joy. It's being sold because I don't use it as much as I should. I bought this brand new. NOT ex demo in July 2011 and have since made the following improvements (costs included).
Full Dream Machine respray in RSV4 metallic white. £700. 00 (the bike was not damaged in any way and has never been dropped or scratched. I had it done as Aprilia didn't produce the white at the time which was my favourite colour but since. produced one. could minehave been an inspiration?)
Akrapovic carbon end can and De-cat link pipe£700. 00
Roadlok disc lock£175. 00
RSV4 Tail conversion£400. 00
Taller Screen£ 75. 00
Aprilia Mana 850 Bar risers£150. 00
Adjustable levers£ 80. 00
R&G Tail Tidy£ 80. 00
R&G Aero crash bobbins£ 75. 00
Lithium-Ion Battery£120. 00
Oxford LED rear indicators£ 34. 00
Adjustable footpegs£ 50. 00
Total Spent£2639. 00
All original parts are included in the sale.
The bike has had it's throttle position sensor recall. Further to this. these bikes suffered with a hot start problem (Google it) A new Lithium-ION battery and an extra thick earth cable have been fitted which has cured the problem. Also. the exhaust flapper cables have been disconnected. making the low down throttle response ultra-smooth but can easily be reconnected if desired but I can't see the point.
The first service and an interim oil service have been carried out by Aprilia dealers and although not needed. this bike will go with a top quality Putoline oil change (£55 for the oil alone!)
This bike must be seen AND heard to be appreciated and it always draws a crowd when parked up. I'll be sad to see it go but I think someone else needs to use this bike rather than the occasional Sunday by me.
