Description
BSA Thunderbolt was one of the last BSA's to leave the factory before they closed. This machine was shipped to America in 1972 and was returned to the UK in 1974 where it was first registered in 1974. It was ridden until 1988 when it was taken off the road and striped down. It was stored in boxes in a garage for the next thirty odd years.
I purchased the bike in May 2012 as an engine. frame. and box of bits. For the best part of the last two years it has undergone a restoration with many parts being replaced or refurbished. Wheel rims. mudguards and nuts and bolts are all in stainless steel. It is now practically a new bike. and has been valued at around £5000 to £6000. If looked after it can only increase in value. Runs well. Tax exempt next year. I am looking for a quick sale as I need the space.
