Ducati 748R, 12000 Miles, Excellent Condition, No. 292

I am selling my beautiful Ducati 748R-02 due to injury and not being able to ride this year. Bought it for myself late last year and have not ridden it since purchase. The bike is in excellent condition and benefits from many extras. Please see below:

Carbon hugger, swingarm cover, number plate holder, airbox, clutch cover, key cover, clocks cover, and even a carbon number plate (yes, really). Mostly genuine Ducati Performance parts.

Lots of other nice touches, such as the clutch slave cylinder upgrade, Ventura headlight cover, custom paint job, Corbin seat, upgraded clutch, etc.

Datatool S4-C1 alarm immobiliser, fitted 11/04/08, with a 10-year warranty. All manuals present, spare fob, and two spare keys.

It is number 292.

The bike has covered 12,012 miles. Since 2008, it has done less than 2,000 miles. I have several expensive invoices for work carried out. At 10,000 miles, £2,384 was spent on it at Moto Rapido Ducati in Winchester. Just 53 miles ago, it had a full service, including new belts, at the same place, with a bill for £361.

I bought this bike because it has been so well looked after, and I am a sucker for Ducatis. I also have a 2002 998 and am a little torn between the two, to be honest, but the 998 is a bit more practical (no Ohlins forks, though—the gold draws you in :-)). So this is a hard sale for me. I won't accept daft offers and would prefer anyone seriously interested in purchasing this bike to come and have a look at it first. If it is to your liking, then make me a serious offer.
