For Sale - My lovely 1975 Vespa Rally 200

Thinning out my collection - so I've reluctantly decided to let some scooters go. and this is one that simply isn't getting ridden - so it's time for someone else to own. enjoy & most importantly ride it!

This is an excellent example of the Classic 70's Vespa Rally 200 model - this is an original UK Reg'd bike (not an import) - and comes complete with its original engine & running on its original Femsatronic 6 Volt electrical system.

The scooter has been subjected to a full ground-up professional restoration. to original factory specification. a few years ago by it's previous owner - and though it's now showing some minor chips & scratches from use. it is still in fantastic overall condition & is mechanically 'A1'.

The bodywork has been re-finished in its original colour 'Piaggio China Blue' to the correct factory paint code - and all frame parts are finished in the correct Aluminium Silver.

Its a very reliable machine - always starts easily (even from cold). and has never missed a beat - it basically run's & rides as it did when new. The engine is very torquey & pulls through all of the gears exactly as it should.

The Scooters body. frame parts & motor are all in standard original factory spec - other than for a couple of recently added. tastefull upgrades - which include: a brand new BGM Rear Shock. a brand new BGM Pro Fully Adjustable Front Damper + a 33% Stiffer Front Spring - and a new SIP 2 Road Exhaust system. with an increased main jet size to 122.

The scooter has had a recent full service & health check @ Motech in Newcastle (April this year). to get it ready for the Summer - and while there. it had the following work carried out; New 1st & 2nd Gears fitted. new Selector Rod & Cruciform fitted & the Stator Plate was sent away to Beedspeed to be Re-wired & Re-magnetised - the scooter has covered less than 100 miles since then.

Taxed & Tested till end of May 2015 (it will become tax exempt from next year under the new classic vehicle ruling) - so this Rally 200 needs absolutely nothing - apart from Riding & Enjoying!

It's is the 'Genuine Article' - an original UK registered machine - which has had much time. love & money invested into it - all of which shows in the way that it looks & rides.
