Description
This bike is road legal and comes with a daytime MOT.
Here we have a 1974 model Honda CB750 SOHC K series classic that has been converted into a CR750 Daytona Race Replica.
The bike has been extensively modified and professionally built to almost the same spec as the real thing, other than the engine, which has been left as standard for reliability. As you can see, there are many nice goodies.
Here is a short list of what has been done: Twin disc conversion, oil cooler, engine built with new primary chains/tensioners, Tsubaki cam chain, all usual external engine mods to cases for this type of bike, both front and rear hubs beautifully machined and modded + for rear cable, machined front disc as the factory did, race clip-ons, modified frame all round, stove enamelled black frame, brake, new custom wiring harness + all electrics have been custom fitted into a nice stainless purpose-built box, stainless undertray under seat, full fairing, properly welded struts to fit fairing at headstock, modern remote reservoir for front brake to give a good feel, Pingle fuel tap, K&N's fitted to carbs that have been modified and jetted to run correctly at all speeds, fitted with electric horn on a nice Honda switch, fitted with neon 6 spot brake lights, fitted with TT100's tyres for that period look, fitted with Hagon twin chrome shocks, modified and machined period-style rear brake drum with vents and mesh, modified redesigned oil tank under seat with filler cap between your legs?, on/off ignition toggle ignition switch hidden on the bike, machined modified finless oil filter housing, new Boyer ignition system + coils, gel battery, new wheels by Hagon using correct deep flanged rims and stainless spokes, 970 race numbers which relate to Honda's middle part number for the CR750 race bits, fuel tank breather and pipe, Honda on/off kill switch on handlebars, tin plate handmade front mudguard with struts, knurled footrest rear sets, correct rear brake pedal modified and machined, engine oil breather outlet as per race bike, miniature digi speedo, reversed gear lever so one up and all down, comfy seat for road use.
The engine has been finished in a nice shot-blasted smooth finish just like a Sandcast engine and looks fabulous.
Replica exhaust system (with removable baffles), wow, what a sound! Exhaust system has been finished by Camcoat, who do Formula 1 exhausts. Too much to list.
Painted in Vic World colours and signed by Jim Redmond on the tailpiece. Featured in Men and Motors TV, reviewed by Steve Parrish. We have all the documents V5C registration and lots of receipts and bills relating to the build of this amazing machine. I have been out for a ride on the bike and I can honestly say it rides and handles extremely well with good brakes and performance for a classic bike of this age.
(NOTICE) Please do not text or email us with the message 'What's your best price' as I generally find that most people who do this are not really interested in the motorcycle.
If you are seriously interested, then please pick up the phone and talk to us. Part exchange welcome. We can deliver this bike anywhere, even the other side of the world, for a fee. All payments accepted.
