2004 Aprilia Tuono Racing – Factory Street Fighter with Full Race Kit

For sale: my 2004 Tuono Racing, complete with full race kit – £5750 OVNO

I purchased this bike new, and it has been fantastic—never let me down. Any upgrades have been done, including the charging system, which has a bad reputation on Aprilia bikes—but not on this one or any of my Aprilias, as I am a factory-trained Aprilia motorcycle mechanic, and this machine has been maintained regardless of cost!

For those who don't know, this was the first factory-built street fighter! To launch the Tuono to the world, only 300 bikes were made to this high spec, featuring:
- Loads of carbon components
- Close-ratio gearbox with slipper clutch
- Ace pipe and road slip-on (included in the race kit)
- Gear linkage reverse (1 up, 5 down)
- Ace fairing & belly pan
- Two ECU chips (1 road, 1 race)
- Ohlins suspension (front & rear)
- Ohlins steering damper
- Race radial brake calipers

This bike led the way in 2004, and even factory-built Aprilias rarely match this specification now!

A few tasteful modifications have been done by myself and BSD:
- 57mm throttle bodies from the Edwards Replica (including Edwards ECU chip)
- Renegade airbox conversion
- Controlled by a Dynojet Power Commander and hub with 2 full custom switchable maps:
- Map 1: Titanium race slip-on can
- Map 2: Standard road silencer (makes MOTs easy, with an incredible induction noise)
- APS designed by BSD – printouts supplied

This machine is only available due to a personal health issue (non-bike-related). Please check this model out—over the next 5 years, this machine will double in value!
